Doceo recently earned recognition as one of the 2021 Best Places to Work in PA. The Central Penn Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Business promote the awards program, launched in 2005, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Team PA Foundation, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) – PA State Council, and Best Companies Group.
This statewide survey and awards program identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places to work in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. The 2021 Best Places to Work in PA list is made up of 100 companies.
Companies had to meet the following eligibility requirements to participate.
- Have at least 15 employees working in Pennsylvania;
- Be a for-profit or non-profit business or government entity;
- Be a publicly or privately held business;
- Have a facility in the state of Pennsylvania; and
- Be in business for a minimum of one year.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in PA. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in PA and also analyzed the data and used its expertise to determine the final rankings.
John Lewis, Chief Executive Officer at Doceo, said, “This recognition is a testament to Doceo’s incredible growth, our passionate team members who help each other a tremendous amount on a daily basis and our focus on our employee’s future.”
The Best Places to Work in PA awards celebration will recognize and honor Doceo on Thursday, December 2, with guests joining virtually. Event organizers will announce the final rankings at the celebration and post them on CPBJ.com, LVB.com, and BestPlacetoWorkinPA.com.
