COVID-19 Statement from Doceo
March 13, 2020
The spread of the novel coronavirus, and the steps being taken to minimize the impact, is impacting the day to day life of everyone reading this statement. This has been a rapidly changing situation, and many organizations are electing to significantly curtail operations or shut down completely in order to minimize the impact of this pandemic on our communities. It is our intention to continue operations and support you, our customer.
As our daily interactions with clients often necessitate in-person visits, we wanted to make you aware of the policies we have enacted here at Doceo to ensure the safety of both your personnel and ours.
Effective immediately, all Doceo personnel whose duties can be performed remotely will be working from home to minimize the potential vectors for spreading the virus.
Field personnel are implementing a series of initiatives to curtail spreading the virus, including the following:
- All internal meetings have been canceled to ensure that Doceo does not spread illness internally.
- All field personnel are equipped with, and trained to use, tools and materials to sanitize any surfaces or devices required to complete their tasks while onsite at customer locations.
- Each customer will be contacted in advance of an on-site service call or delivery to identify and ensure compliance to customer policies with regards to COVID-19 prevention.
- We will attempt to employ remote diagnostic and repair whenever possible in order to minimize onsite requirements.
All business travel and event attendance scheduled for Doceo personnel has been canceled for the duration of the crisis to further reduce potential infections.
Doceo will continue to monitor the development of this situation, and should we feel the need to update the above policy, we will notify our customers of those changes immediately. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all work to adjust to this unprecedented situation.
