Four years ago, Northeastern School District wanted to contract with one copier firm that understood what we needed for our copying needs – reliability, affordability, and fast repair service. After interviewing a number of companies, we believe we have found our solution. In 2014, the Northeastern School District awarded Doceo as the district-wide copier company for a contract period through June 30, 2018. From the onset of the relationship with Doceo, Mr. Lewis has offered competitive lease pricing and responsive service.
During this initial contract period, our district relied heavily upon Doceo for our printing, copying, and scanning needs. In exchange, Doceo had obligated itself to a service commitment in terms of response time, and they have worked hard to keep this promise. As an additional measure, they even stored several loaner units onsite for temporary use as needed, and employed them without question when we asked. Throughout this contract period, Doceo maintained a preventive maintenance schedule and would meet with me periodically to review the service performance of every machine at the district. Their technicians took care of our building personnel with training and responsive service. In conversations with one of our building secretaries, she expressed her satisfaction with the training. She was also pleased with the supplies delivery time. Most importantly, she appreciated the minimal service repair time.
In December 2017, Northeastern School District renewed its contract through June 30, 2022, with Doceo, with Toshiba, Lexmark, and Sharp brand copiers networked in all our buildings and at a cost savings to our taxpayers. In coordination with the district’s technology department, Doceo technicians removed, installed, and networked the equipment. They also provided onsite training for key operators and staff.
In a public school environment, our taxpayers want a low-cost vendor while our employees demand quality service. Equally important, though, is that you must be able to trust those with whom you engage in a business relationship. Doceo, under Mr. Lewis’s leadership, has earned the Northeastern School District’s trust!
